Hi
2 questions:
I am running escan AV SMB. I am ocassionally getting popups "escan malware url filter" , obviously blocking some URLs. There is an option to whitelist the offending URL, but it is greyed out. I cannot find anywhere in the escan settings to configure this filter. Either on the local settings or the server settings. Where set this filter up ?
I have 4 pcs currently running escan. 2 x 64 bit Vista and 2 x 32 bit Windows 7. The proactive scanning option only shows up on the 32 bit Windows 7 PCs and not on the 64 bit Vista. Why does it not show up on all of them?
Thanks

Greetings.
With reference to your query, please note that the "Add to whitelist" option for blocked malware URL is greyed out on eScan Corporate/ISS SMB/AV SMB client systems. In case a blocked URL needs to be whitelisted , you need to
Open the eScan Protection Center window , go to File Antivirus>> View Report option.
Here you will find the logs for the blocked URL .Please right click on the same and select the "Add to Whitelist" option.
As per the second query, please note that the eScan proactive scanning option is available on only 32-bit operating systems.Hence the feature is greyed out on 64-bit operating systems.

There is no reference to the blocked URLs on the View Report window. This has blocked a URL that I use, and I can only access it now by stopping the realtime protection, which is not a desirable option.
The product I have is SMB/AV and I see no reference to URL blocking in the documentation. I have reinstalled the product as a server, and the whitelist option appears, but unfortunately I didn't get to it in time.
I will contact the help desk on this as I need to get it sorted.
Thanks

Greetings.
With reference to your query, the whitelisting of blocked websites by the eScan Malware URL filter for eScan client systems in version 10 was not available earlier.
Please download and deploy the latest hotfix from the below link on the eScan client systems in your network to get the "Add to Whitelist " option under File Antivirus>>View Report window.
