How to update eScan without a Internet connection?
Posted: Sun May 25, 2008 6:46 pmIn case if you do not have internet connection to the eScan machine, please download the esupdate from the below mentioned links.

The difference between the esupdate.exe and the MWAV.exe is that:
esupdate.exe ==> Has the latest virus update definitions and latest fix.
mwav.exe ==> Is the toolkit utility(MWAV scanner).
Esupdate.exe can be downloaded on the machine having an internet connection and then run/execute on machine without the internet connection. This will update the virus definitions on that particular machine.
If the eScan server does not have a internet connection you can run esupdate.exe file onto the server so that the sever will be updated and then the clients will be updated from the eScan server.(If the announcement of the server is started)
