MWAV 9.6.8 Released
Posted: Tue Jan 22, 2008 6:16 pm
Hello All,
Latest MWAV uploaded is MWAV 9.6.8.
Changes in MWAV 9.6.8 :
1. New License files added
Changes in ESPATCH / ESUPDATE 1.0.0.55:
1. Updated Monitor added - Earlier because of a bug, if Network drives are
excluded, Monitor would still scan files in that drive. This has been
corrected.
2. Like MWAV shows files changes in last fortnight, eScan Monitor will list
any SUSPECTED FILE it encounters in file SVIR.LOG.
3. CONTFILT.DLL added to ESPATCH.
4. MWAVCLIP no longer being made. MWAVSCAN has been added to ESPATCH.
5. DNSLIB.DLL added to ESPATCH. This implements a new Communication Server
that
interacts with Monitor to efficiently check for files on network drives
6. Oplocks Entry Removed. This was causing issues with Tally Server getting
slow with eScan Installed.
7. Monitor Update given in earlier ESPATCH would slightly slowdown systems -
owing to all files on Network Drives being scanned. This has been corrected
in this ESPATCH.
8. LanmanServer set to auto-recovery mode
9. ErrorMode now set to 0 on machines having eScan (but it will be set to 2
on machines having MailScan). This change will allow archaic DOS
applications (like Foxpro or Clipper) to work on XP
10.Launch.exe updated to check for "RunToolkitOnStartup"
11. New License files added.
