Genuine Mails marked as spam

When Outlook or Outlook Express receives mail from the Local mail server most of them are marked as spam even if added to White list. Mail Server is LanSuite pro.

Product used Escan Pro 9.0.779 with Espatch1 which makes it Escan pro 9.0.779.102

As adviced by vikas I had gone to content administrator-Email-content Scanning-Advanced-in spam filter configuration another advanced tab and disabled

1. NILP
2. ENABLE HEADER CHECK
3. ENABLE XSPAM CHECK
4. ENABLE SPF CHECK
5. SURBL CHECK
6. RBL CHECK

All these where done as it comes via proxy and can not be checked.


Further to this the spam filter seams to be blocking or marking genuine mails as spam.

Any solution

We had the same problem.

A workaround - as adviced by Swapnil - is:
Pls do the following :

Pls go to the mailscan.ini file in mailscan folder and go to the entry
DoLimitedContentCheckOnWhiteListedIds=1
make this
DoLimitedContentCheckOnWhiteListedIds=0

Save the setting...
Then delete all the files from \mailscan\spoolout folder and restart Mailscan services and check
