1. Do we need to activate all Microworld Products (eScan/Mailscan/X-spam)?

Yes.

Activation is required to be done on

eScan Corporate Server ===> Every eScan corporate server v9.0.x and above will ask for activation.

eScan Internet Security Suite (ISS) =====> Every eScan ISS/ISS home/ISS OEM v9.0.x and above will ask for activation.

eScan Antivirus (AV) =====> Every eScan AV/AV home/AV OEM v9.0.x and above will ask for activation.

Mailscan Products =====> Every Mailscan product v5.5a and above will ask for activation.


2. From where will I get the activation code?

If you have already activated the product you can get the activation code form

In eScan Products

Start>>Programs>>eScan for windows>>escan registration.


In Mailscan Products

Right click the mailscan Icon, Click on Mailscan Administrator. In Mailscan Administrator, License Tab.

If you have not activated the product you can get the activation code by following the procedure in the below mentioned link to activate via

Online/Fax/email.

3. What if I have lost the activation code?

In case you have lost the activation code, You can write to us at register@escanav.com. Please mention your standard key (30-character) in the email and ask for the activation code that was issued to you earlier.

4. What if I have formatted my machine?

If you have only formatted your machine, You can use the old activation code that was issued to you.

If the old activation code does not work, you will have to send the Activation details from your machine to register@escanav.com

If you have formatted your machine and also changed some hardware from your machine, the old activation code will not work. In this case you will have to send the Activation details from your machine to register@escanav.com

You will have to email the details to us. You will be replied via email with the balance period activation code in 24 working hours.

Note: It is always wise to note down your standard key and the activation code before formatting the machine.

5. What if I have changed my machine or bought a new machine?

If you have changed the machine or bought a new machine, the old activation code will not work. In this case you will have to send the Activation details from the new machine to register@escanav.com

6. What if I am not able to activate the standard key online due to any reason?

If you have not able to activate the standard key online due to any reason send the Activation details from the machine to register@escanav.com

You will have to email the details to us. You will be replied via email with the activation code in 24 hours.
