proxy settings

Postby wabenzi » Sat Jan 31, 2009 1:57 am

We tried to download the HOTFIX using the “wgwin” utility, but we had a problem doing so. A proxy server is being used, so therefore all downloads should go through the proxy settings, but the “wgwin” has no downloading setting(s). This problem was encountered and needs to be dealt with my MICROWORLD – support team.

How do we do that for PC to get access to update it’s virus database.

Thank you

Please download wgwin.exe from the below link

http://mail3.mwti.net/wgwin.exe

If you tick the proxy settings in internet explorer then only it is going to download via proxy. no need to change any settings in 'wgwin

WGWIN by default takes the connection settings from IE (Default Browser). Just in case you are using the proxy all you need to do is select the checkbox "Use IE Proxy" before using it.
