desk top short cut arrows disappeared

hi

need a soluitons to restore the desk top short cut arrow keys which was disappeared after my dealer partner plugged in a memory card.

have installed escan in the said machine and the system is clean now but this is not set right

hi

have installed trial version of escan 11

see the problem is not becuse of eScan, it was there evern before we install eScan, it happended when my dealer partner has connected one memory chip with the system and from there onwareds the system is like this

Hello,

With reference to your query, in case the desktop icons have been hidden by the infection from the memory card , you can use the /unhideallfiles parameter to scan the particular folder (in this case the desktop folder)
For this , go to start menu>>run and type 'cmd' and press enter
In the command prompt window, type the following commands sequentially (assuming escan installed in c:\programfiles\escan folder)
cd\
cd progra~1
cd escan
mwavscan.com /explorer /unhideallfiles
(For any other drive letter , type 'drive letter:' eg. d: or e: and follow the above commands)
This will open the scanning window, use it to scan the desktop folder only using the browse option.
This will unhide all files/folders from the desktop folder as well as restore certain default windows settings.
