Hi

I have installed eScan Version 10.0.968.374 DB on WindowsXP service pack 2, I have set the Endpoint security to Scan the USB devices/Drives and to ask for password.

When I connect the USB Device, 90% of the time eScan asks for the password to be entered but only 50% of the time USB scanning happens automatically.

Otherwise there is no Auto scanning conducted, may I know what is the reason behind the same, and even though there is no Whitelist USB selected, the used USB if inserted it even sometimes skips asking for password.

Do pls let me know the remedy for the same.

We will check the same. If its a problem we will get it corrected and the change will be available with the next hotfix.

Does the USB have a autorun or have any data on it?
